I can see it go both ways, but I’ve always pronounced it “Jif” myself…albeit only in my head since you really only see it on the internet and never actually hear it verbalized in real life.
But either way, I can’t even imagine changing at this point since I’ve always pronounced it that way ever since I first saw it ages ago. It’s basically engraved into my brain at this point.
And in defense of myself and everyone else who pronounces it “Jif” as well…just remember that the letter G is pronounced “Jee” and not “Gee”. That’s all I have to say : P
This season of The Real World is REALLY good. Pleasantly surprised. Not really sure how much of it is actually “real” or not, but nevertheless… Good stuff.

Richard Brooker, the actor known for Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part III, has passed away.
I don’t have anything else to say here that isn’t trite. Just that a significant actor from one of my favourite movies is gone. That’s it.

Richard Brooker, the first person to ever play Jason Voorhees in the iconic hockey mask, died on April 8th, 2013. Strangely enough, he died on Kane Hodder’s birthday… we all know Kane Hodder for having played Jason multiple times. RIP, Richard Brooker.
